I can hardly believe my eyes. Our very own family vehicle (for personal use!!!) has arrived in the Dominican Republic! It is hard to adequately explain just what this means for us -- as a family, as missionaries and for the mission at large. This is one of the final steps we needed to truly be independent here in the Dominican Republic. GOD IS GOOD!! <3 Although I haven't gathered all of my strength and confidence to drive her around San Juan yet (Dominican driving is CRAZY to say the least)....all in due time.
We were blessed with the opportunity to go back to Michigan for Christmas. It was SO wonderful to be with family for the holidays. We enjoyed the chance to see snow, drink American coffee (!!!!) and truly rest. We apologize to the many MANY people that we didn't get to see because the trip was so short. We will be home again at the end of May and plan to do another pot luck with our support team. Mark your calendars! Until then, please continue to keep us in your prayers.... thank you for supporting us! Updates coming soon about the Diocesan Adventure Education Center and other new programs! <3
